Here's a quick tutorial on land claiming, what it does, and why you should use it! 🚨
- In game, press [M] to open your map! - In the top left of the map there is a button named Claimed Chunks. Click that or press [C]. - You can now select the chunks you want to claim! - There is currently a max of 500 claimed chunks per Team or individual. This may be increased in the future if needed.
### 🛡️ What does claiming your land actually do?###
Claiming chunks protects your builds and property from other players.
By default, players who are not part of your team or allowed as an ally cannot:
- Break blocks inside your claimed land - Place blocks inside your claimed land - Open or interact with protected blocks such as chests, machines, doors, etc. - Interact with or damage protected things like item frames and armor stands
Claimed chunks are also protected from most destructive things like explosions and mob griefing, helping keep your builds safe even when you're offline.
Your team members and allowed allies can still build and interact inside your claims, so claiming land will not stop you from building together!
⚠️ Claiming a chunk does NOT automatically keep it loaded while you're offline. Chunk loading is a separate feature from claiming.
We highly recommend claiming anything you care about, especially your home, storage areas, machines, farms, and larger builds. It only takes a few seconds and helps prevent accidental damage, theft, and griefing!
